This story is about two people who's initial dedication to a dream caused their marriage to fall apart. Gayle is a single minded genius astrobiologist. Her thirst to succeed and fear caused her to walk out on her marriage, 19yrs ago. Axel pursued his dream to become a cyborg and work for G-Force. It was a dream that cost him his marriage.
When these two are thrown together again, animosity is the first thing that surfaces, along with hurt. They soon discover that there love never died.
Axel was a sweet guy. He wanted to do some good in the world. Gayle was a little snobbish, but could admit when she was wrong.
The story was okay. It got repetitive at times. The flow slowed as Gayle got lost in her head. The story got a little preachy with the topic of going green and recycling.
If you like stories that take place on other planets. You may enjoy this book. The author did a good job descibing the desert planet and the inconveniences of so much sand.
