This is my first book of Emily Henry. I was hooked on this book from the very beginning. The writing was beautiful; so many lines hit home and turned me into a puddle of tears. The characters in this story felt so realistic and i think that's what made me become so attached to this book. The novel had some deeper layers than I anticipated and I felt that it showcased a lot of realistic conversation surrounding growing up, love & relationships, grief, depression and much more. The time jumps between past and present added to the storytelling and unveiling of what went on with Harriet and Wyn's relationship,as well as gave background to the friend group's history.
And then of course, the heart of this book is the friendship how loving they were...The friendship in this book were complex, heartwarming, and real. No doubt Emily Henry is a mastermind when it comes to character-building and putting these bits and pieces of sweet moments.
Overall, i loved it so much and l'd recommend this book if you haven't picked it up yet!
