I don’t know which was worse, the script or the acting. Most of the actors didn’t know what to do with their hands. At times they even signed their words. The women screeched most of their lines. Then there was the uneven writing. What character in the fictional back water town explains his actions by saying, “It’s not in my biology”? It was sad to watch the talents of Mr. Travolta, Mr. Hawke, and one amazing dog, being wasted. However, if you like dogs, this film may be worth your time. The dog is amazing.
