I dont see the need to change much from the books. Leaving out Leto II death at sietch tab'r which is pivotal in cementing paul atreides resolve. The grief of losing your first born will do that to you. Instead he just has a quick natter with a vision and changes his beliefs from one pole to the other. From i must not go and start a holy war to nah lets go unleash the dogs of war.
