I believe that the cinematography was excellent and creativity was through the roof. Great performances from all the actors, huge fan of Joaquin Phoenix so that’s what brought me to watch this movie. The issue was with how confusing and drawn out scenes were. The plot went and branched off into a whole other plot which was just confusing. The stuffed plot just was messy. The movie contradicted itself many times, where I thought it was pointless. It hurts to say this bc I think Ari makes great movies, but this one was a miss for me. Too drawn out, a lot of unnecessary scenes. Very out of the box and insane. Right when you thought you kind of had an understanding it just threw you for a loop. But all of this may have just been the whole point
