The movie was entertaining to a very minimal degree. I was so close to rating it a 2 or 1 star. I am a fan of these several of the actors in the movie. They are still great at their character portrayals.
Besides the cast, the mystery factor, some suspense, a few other details and giving this movie a reasonable chance to be good, were the reasons we kept watching.
Also, I have to say, reading other reviews (giving the movie an average to low rating)were on the mark and did a good job of explaining and describing why it does not deserve high reviews.
When you get down to it, the movie is basically drawn out and boring for the most part of it.
It was difficult to understand (accents) and follow different parts of the movie. I had to use subtitles to catch exactly what some of the actors were saying.
Realistically, This movie is another example of Movies being made today, that are pushing PC and making PC historical inconsistencies. (This does not do justice to what the movie industry is trying to do).
It also did lacked respect and vision with the author and her original story.
I know i would not see it again and glad I didn’t spend a penny to see it. One time watching it was good enough. I just wanted to make sure not to be missing a pretty good movie (especially due to the cast and book)
In my opinion, watching any movie once is not a waste of time, (especially for free) but twice is a waste of time when it is not a good movie.
Maybe, Give it a chance (but when it’s free to watch) because you never know you may find you would watch it again, But i highly doubt it. Once is enough.
Lastly, if it’s even free to watch and really don’t have or want to waste your time, then i would not on this movie.
