Wasn't sure after first watching the series. After a second viewing the series seemed better as I noticed more. There seems to be a lack of chemistry between main leads which may be due to the odd episode lengths and number of episodes not giving enough time for development. When first advertised I am sure it stated there would be 8 episodes which may have improved the series. The two main actors are extremely talented so it is a shame they were somewhat wasted. Unfortunately, the writing standard in recent years on all areas of tv, film and streaming seems mostly poor with just the odd excellent few. Fortunately both Richard Armitage and Charlie Murphy have acted in some excellent ones (Berlin Station, Catlevania, Hannibal, The Last Kingdom and Happy Valley). Recently watched The Crucible again so I suggest people watch that to see how talented Richard Armirage is.
