Ian just completed In House Of Lies.Fantastic as always.Loved how you keep Rebus involved.Being a 30 year cop who joined late 60s.I trained under a number of these characters all pre PACE no DNA .by the time I retired in 2000 I was having to carry out health and safety risk assessments every time one of my DCs went to a pub.You always capture the true spirate of the job and you manage to bring it up to date and cover how the job has changed and how and original like Rebus can still just fit in.Please dont kill him off as it all brings happy memories back to an old cop like me.I will try and catch you at one of your book events or on a cruise Brian Potter
