I was very excited for this movie but unfortunately I was let down. I expected an intense chemistry between the two main characters, that should’ve pulled me in off rip , but their chemistry never got there for me. I also felt like the movie was rushed and there wasn’t a true flow, the transitions of the scenes were sudden and often I felt bewildered thinking “ what ?! How did we get to this point” ?! Also the the two stories being told never helped each other out for me I felt like I was watching two entirely different films. The two never came together for one common climax and resolve, instead it seemed there were two different soft resolves, and both kind of just ended as abruptly as they started. I still think the concept of the movie is amazing and definitely a refreshing story to be told. I just think the follow through did not happen and I found myself very disappointed when I walked out the theatre.
