If you are looking for a Charlie’s Angels reboot in 2024 without the prowess, then watch no further. The women are the show, of course only portrayed as backed (or barely as important as) the men who brought this to fruition. To see the men talk amongst themselves about how well the women can do; as if they are a third inferior party is despicable and a not so welcomed throw back to 1950s. All of this of course, without the nostalgia and finite roles society placed back then. Let’s see the Oppenheimer men hitting the streets looking half as made up as the women are expected to be and similar fortitude. I do think the women look made up and ridiculous with their ultra skinny frames and false (everything?) but why not the same expectation for the males of the show?
