I have to say I was quite disappointed by this three hours of TV. I know it was based on a true story therefore had to follow the events as they happened but what it amounted to was three hours of police procedure which would be more suited to a drama documentary of one hours length. Having not read the news story about the Pembroke murders, I was expecting something with a bit of a plot twist and I think the makers tried to hint at this via some red herring style treatment of the son and the wife. These of course ended up just being dead ends and a rather tedious court sequence that took up most of the third instalment. An episode of Crown Court would be just as interesting. It left me wondering what the point of this mini series had been.
