Movie is very good as described by others. However one thing could have been avoided is the twisted climax under the name of cinematic liberty. As per the Maratha history, real climax is as under: On the battle day, Tanhaji had taken oath of avoiding sip of water until he releases Kamal Kumari from Uday Bhan Custody and conquer the fort. Tanhaji confronted Udaybhan after killing 500 to 600 Pathan's on his way by his sword. Just imagine the person without having sip of water climbed such stiff fort ( In modern days, it takes 04-05 Hrs to climb the Tanhaji Kada with all latest equipment available for rock climbing. However, after successful climbing, no one will have energy to walk. Please check YouTube if you have doubts). However, Tanhaji had Killed 500-600 Pathan's alone after climbing. So but oblivious, Tanhaji started loosing his enery while fighting with young and fresh Udaybhan, who was equally powerful. However, Tanhaji with his courage and bravery, had almost killed Udaybhan in intense battle but unfortunately Tanhaji sheild was broken at last moment and one strong sword stroke of Udaybhan, cut the one hand of Tanhaji. Though, Tanhaji fought till his last breath with one hand. After killing Tanhaji, Uday Bhan was about to kick his dead body but Tanhaji 80 years maternal uncle Shelar Mama was arrived at scene and challenged Udaybhan to fight with him. Finally in mortal combat, Udaybhan fallen on ground and Shelar mama killed Udaybhan by biting his neck with teeth. After seeing Tanhaji death, Maratha soldiers become confused and started running from battle field but Tanhaji brother Suryaji cut the ropes which they have used to climb the fort. This left Marathas in do or die situation. Finally Maratha forces took the reveng of their warrior and conquered the fort in Midnight. Next day morning, Chatrapati Visited the fort to greet and meet his brave soldier and childhood friend Tanhaji. However seeing his dead body, he was completely broken and cried like anything. With heavy heart, he said the famous line "Gad aala pan Sinh Gela". Now what happened with Kamal Kumari? Shivaji Maharaj was ready to send her back to Rajasthan with respect. However, she requested Shivaji Maharaj to allow her to go "Sati" .. With heavy heart and unsuccessful attempts to change her mind, Raje finally accepted her request. Raje also given instructions to performed last rites on Udaybhan body with respect and build his samadhi on fort along with Tanhaji. No other King could have done this with their enemies. But that was the greatness of our Raje. Writing this to make everyone aware about great bravery of unsung Maratha warriors- Tanhaji Malusare and his Mawalas (Soldiers)!! Jai Bhavani! Jai Shivaji!!
