Like many Tarantino movies, the plot and side plots are full of incidental characters who are there for a brief time to enrich the main story delivery and our understanding of the main proponents. Tarantino's direction is meticulous as always and the cast just seem to love being a part of it. The portrayal of slaves as property is brutal and confronting.
