Love the show! I need more seasons to help me deal with the current state of affairs.

I sooo wanted to love this show- spoiler alert incoming- when she FINALLY finds out everything, what a monumental letdown. She’s a detective for crying out loud and has a child- wouldn’t she be asking questions right away?Good grief! Also, they sure dumbed down Dan going into the 3rd season or maybe a little sooner. I couldn’t keep up with how many times Charlotte was or was not dead or back to life or really Charlotte. Ella was a welcome character as a forensic’s tech-but aside from being good at her job- they started dumbing her down too. This isn’t good for binge watching cuz you see just how repetitive the storylines are. Maybe I need to watch one episode per work so it won’t seem so mind-numbing.

Love it! Wish there were more episodes per season or less time between seasons. I should have waited for however many years for seasons to pile up.

I like Elsbeth’s thought process and quirkiness -so stop dumbing down the entire show. Elsbeth shines when everything around her is too serious! That’s why people like her!

What a waste! Anne Rice provided everything from several captivating characters, smoldering sexiness to vivid and lush settings-all surrounding such a fantastic tale! We get a TV adaptation- yay..but no. It’s unrecognizable. Some important Main characters and storylines are gone. New characters and storylines added that don’t make sense. ETC! Had a network put in the money and the creators stuck to the books- this could have been as surreal, vivid and over-the-top as True Blood while telling the original stories with at least most of the book’s characters. Don’t make people or plots up when you already have everything laid out beautifully in Anne Rice’s books! And maybe you could have indulged in New Orleans cuisine and showed us more of the estates and establishments…the things that I googled while reading the books because it all set the scene perfectly. Just my opinion.
