As the daughter who only knew her mother for 11 childhood years. it is difficult to know what her mother was like .we seem to remember good times. But reading between lines. Her mother preferred to be out partying as did her daddy wagner . I believe the children were left with their nanny much of the time . The younger child was too young to remember much at all .she often refers to their drinking in the book so prob this was an every day occurence. She developed seperation anxiety because her mother was away so much . I feel sorry for both girls who ended with mental issues. I dont think her mother knew how to be a
mother and was emotionally not there for them unfortunately after their mother died wagner kept on with his partying
