I did like this. I had a few issues with some of the plot points though. It is said they went through hell to get their powers, but when you see that part it seems like it was pretty easy. When they are touching the wall all they have to do to appease it is say sorry to each other and that's good enough. There is a good plot twist at the end. I kept wondering why present day Utopian had a greasy uncut version of his wife's hair, which was distracting. Speaking of distracting his daughter needs to go somewhere and get over herself. I wish they had gotten rid of her and kept the asian samurai character who was Walter's daughter. She was much more interesting.

Mare of Easttown is interesting and i will keep watching. The thing that bothers me is that it makes the surgery for Erin's son part of the story and that she may have felt she had to prostitute herself to try to pay for it. It bothers me because I want people to know that DJ would definitely have been eligible for CHIP the children health insurance program which is available to children in Pennsylvania and is very good insurance. I know this is stupid on my part and that this is a TV show, BUT i want people to know if you have a child and not much money there is that program. Honestly looking at her situation Erin and son would be eligible for food stamps and medical insurance through Federal programs. Therefore that really didn't ring true and took me out of the story. With everyone saying how great her accent is and how the show paid so much attention to detail for me this was a glaring error. Still i will watch to the end and am still interested.
