Sue Quirante

It started out promising but the drama spiralled out of control beginning with the custody waiver that included concubinage and the network executives who were making dumb business decisions, completely at the whimsy of one businessman. The conflict regarding custody was too extreme and unealistic. The male lead was not a sympathetic character at all. He was immature, violent, callous, and a coward. While the female lead was strong and inspiring at the start, she was reduced to a snivelling wreck toward the 2nd arc. Where did all her smarts go? This kdrama while it appears to challenge the patriarchy actually only further degrades independent women.

The plot is riveting so far. I like that it doesn't take you where other similar stories of the same genre usually lead.
