Surprising this is a really good movie. When surfing Netflix for something easy to watch and my wife suggested a basketball film with Adam Sandler I new it would be watchable. After all Adam Sandler is always “watchable”, however in this film he shows he’s actually a great actor. It’s obviously a comedy but it’s got some serious feels in there as well. The standout performance for me was from the basketball player who played Bo Cruz, solid performance that far surpassed the expected wooden cameo performances from athletes in movies.
