The first season started on a high note although it was unrealistic about the number of wives. It looks like the writers are all over the place, starting something and finishing it. Anathi and Thulani never find out who caused the death of their unborn child. We find out that Ntando is not Luzuko 's child & nothing happens, he is still with the Mxenge family which is unrealistic. A lot of things should have happened. Msimelelo moves on with his life as if Ntando does not exist. Zimkhitha did a lot but there are no consequences. Main characters are killed such as Luzuko & Anathi, why? We didn't get a chance to see how a man such as Luzuko deals with the Ntando situation, not what happened to Luzuko. His relationship with Thulani after he came back.There's a story there as well. Again Bullet disappear & is not there for the funeral & her son's wedding. No elderly people ( Mxenge family) to prepare for the funeral which is also unrealistic, Zimkhitha was alone in her house before her mom arrived. Hlumelo is a great actor but not everything should be on his shoulders Luzuko should have been there with him, not die. Anathi is killed. Why? She won't even be in a coma & wake up after sometime? I thought Thulani & Anathi will be Ridge & Brooke ( Bold & Beautiful) or Azwindini & Susan (Muvhango). Some people believe in love, we watch Gqeberha because of Thulani & Anathi. The old Ntando was also great, the new one is not the one we were introduced to. Writers are slowly killing the show, they are all over the place as if they are doing it purposely. The only entertaining people left are the Makwethu family. I thought we'll have something that will run for years but the way things are happening I don't see the 3rd season.
