Pretty anticlimactic, but fun.
Soundtrack is iconic but feels misused at times. Cars are exiting and badass as you would expect but that's really all the movie has got going for it.
Story is so cliché and predictable, characters are numb, naïve and make poor/unreasonable decisions.
If you just want to relax and watch a fun and mindless movie about cars then this is it, but if you want something more than that, look elsewhere.
Best not to criticise too much and just try to have an enjoyable experience.
