Having read a few books on this subject I found it to be fascinating insight to the facts around nuclear governance. The scary point I mostly got wasn’t just that nuclear war is M.A.D but we still to this day don’t seem to be countering the weapons with new technology. No “new” Nuclear iron dome, no new potential help for civilians in nuclear nations. No “Star Wars” to combat the threat… we just continue with the same deterrent theories instead of making them obsolete. Puts todays issues in Ukraine under a more sobering spotlight.
