me and my partner grew up playing the games and it’s always been something we loved. all the reviews were harsh and it made me sad but we both still went to see it in theaters and throughout the whole thing i was happy. the movie is fantastic. i feel that most of the poor reviews are from people who are not fans, just wanted a gore fest, didn’t go with nostalgic intent, have no idea what fnaf actually is, or went with painfully high expectations for a film based on the first game where it’s just a man in a room watching cameras not trying to die. i hope they continue to make more of the movies regardless
