Calling this movie a sci fi is a slap to the genre. Having a robot does not = science fiction. This is a drama, and nothing more. There is no action or thrill. The only mystery is why are there butterflies 🤔 Still, there is no answer for that other than swiss cheese. I have seen better B movie scifi with probably cheaper budgets if it was a cash grab attempt. No, I don't want a robot friend of my own now because AI will ultimately turn evil, and propaganda like this should be called out for what it is. Dont warm up to the idea of AI because there are better movies out that shows why it won't work and we should not do it. I will give 1star for the dog and another for Hanks.
