I am a big fan of all Deaver's books especially Lincoln Rhyme novels and short stories. He is a great intriguing character surrounded by equally fantastic characters and complex plots. This show isn't Lincoln Rhyme, do yourself a favor and respect the years of work and mastery of the author and read the book(s). I've waited many years for films (D Washington was not Lincoln either) or TV to utilize Deaver's richly woven world. This is not it.
