I played this on AOL before it went to a flat rate, then once it did, I spent so many hours in it. I played for about 5(95-00ish) years, then got bored and moved on. They were great times, and I had a lot of fun with friends and family. Through the years, I went back to find out my characters had been lowered in level and rerolled a couple of them left again came back to find they raised the levels back up but not as much as before, so I was still lower than when I left the first time. I played for a while this time, maybe 6 months a year. I left for a good while after that and tried again in 2018, and the people there now are almost toxic and not fun at all I left again, and just last night, I gave it another shot only to be disheartened yet again. The only good that came out this time was that I didn't pay the exorbitant rate they charge for a multiplayer account. I loved the game back in the day, but it's just not the same, and it doesn't feel like they are trying to make it any better, just maintain it. Unless there are some major changes, I won't return after this time.
