Number One Message: For every critics smashing the movie for having a "boring plot line" and "rambunctious story line". If you haven't played the game, then it won't make sense. Play the game, then watch the movie. All of you smash this movie into the ground and half of you haven't even scene it. I will be but a whisper among the positive reviews, but I enjoyed a lot of this movie. Yes, Kevin Hart maybe wasn't the best Roland. Yes, Tina's story line was mixed up with the Angelic daughter. True, some comedy jokes were rough. But Borderlands isn't a Ace Ventura, it's BORDERLANDS! Full of action, goofy humor, dark spots, the "rushed story" was still captivating, and oh my word, most actors played the characters well (most). Short version: Story is relative enough for us fans of the game to enjoy. Plenty of action for you junkies. Room for a shot at a sequal? I hope so! Borderlands 2 and 3 have a very cool storyline you could do! Go see it, remember it's not the voice cast, but to remember it's A FAN MOVIE not the game in real form!
