Absolute garbage. Could have been a great film, but butchered by focus on the unsavoury parts of fischer rather than his brilliance or chess in general. Tobey Maguire was unconvincing, too one dimensional. I didn’t see Fischer’s brilliance conveyed by him at all. Hope someone does another film about Fischer.
