Amazing book and really good & fun adaptation to screen thus far. I’ve read the book and after the first 3 episodes it’s pretty much 90-95% 1:1 with the story arc, characters and scenes so far.
I’ve seen some negative reviews out and I’m not sure why. It’s almost like they’re looking for things to poke at. Also others are saying the whole “multiverse/alternate universe” story is now way overdone after Marvel and others have taken it on. But what they fail to understand is that Blake Crouch wrote this story in 2016 before really any of those themes were popular. Just took a longggg time to get this to the screen, unfortunately.
Anyway, this story plays on the rabbit hole thoughts of what my life could have been if I had taken a different route or made different choices - would I have been happier? If you’ve ever had that thought or that storyline intrigues you I recommend you check out this show. Cheers ✌️
