Part of me was suprised by the critics words about this movie, but most of me was not lol. The bottom line is about mental illness and poverty. And how the haves treat the have nots. Never respect people like the critics, this movie is kinda about them. Great movie, not for faint of heart. Very dark but great depiction of mental illness. I am a social worker that has dealt with this material. Writers at Roger and Ebert are likely in Moms basement, so never take their word. Great film but beware, very dark
