Here's the thing about the bachelor Full Disclosure; I have been an addict of the show.. That being said, I was totally upset about how it played out. The girls are kept on a hook until they are thrown back into the ocean. And it's all based on : Am I good enough? Every time a girl is thrown away, it confirms her worst fears about herself. The saddest thing I saw was Gabi's rejection and her extreme distress after her rejection. She ended up exposing to the world how low her self esteem was to begin with. All of her private insecurities were fodder for TV land. Of course there are always the apologies , reassurances and excuses, but ABC had to have so many episodes, so Gabi was strung along even tho she knew and we knew that Kaity was the chosen one. Was it good even good for Kaity ? I don't think so. A man chose her, but it is a confirmation that her self esteem is elevated because a man saying she's good enough.
