Well, this entire four part drama was odd. I would describe this as a try-hard Broadchurch/The Girl On The Train hybrid. The main character was odd--to the nth degree--and the lengths to which we were expected to follow the characters was odd. There were a couple standouts--the dreadful Joanne and George who were both believable characters. But Shirley Henderson's character appeared to want to shag everyone and everything with which she shared a scene. It's a yarn but not necessarily a good one. I wouldn't discourage anyone from watching it, just know what to expect.
