Terrible. Back in that time were some great comedies and I'd hope this would be another one. But this movie was political trash. The prom dancing scene was super cringe. And it dragged way too long. Just virtue signaling. Pandering. And the rainbow American flag was disgusting. And to be honest they couldn't quite get the whole Era down pat. I am a 1990 baby and watching it..they tried but in 2000s especially.. people did not exclude bc you were gay,..etc.not in my hs at least. If anything most gay people back then didn't have To show they were..just sad to see what hs is now. Censorship unless your lbgtq and everyone is a winner mentality. Softer by each generation. Just hoping it would have left political scripture out. Literally.
