Just finished reading How Woke Won by Joanna Williams.
Illuminating insight into the confusing world of the use of the word ‘woke’ both as a positive and negative signifier.
She IS a pro trump anti change person, which doesn’t show up clearly until fairly late in the book when ‘opinions’ overwhelm her scholarship. Until then though it’s a good history of how we got to where we are.
And then, actually, probably a good example of how people who believe even some of what she believes, think.
Obviously everyone is unique.
Where I came from is a place of confusion.
This book really helped to clarify.
