In general the game misses the mark for what you should expect from a triple A game it’s gameplay although slightly improved just at this point will never be good and probably needs to be torn down, then there’s the depth of the game… honestly it’s no different than last year coaching staffs and trees are nice and all but it was something old taken out and added in… compare franchise mode to 2ks version of franchise and they lose badly in every aspect what makes it worse is that mode in 2k pretty much doesn’t get to many new things every year besides updates and improvements… AI trade logic is still not good teams still don’t know how to evaluate players based on scheme and how they would play in there scheme, generated draft classes don’t make sense… stat tracking seems to still have issues displaying some players… for this to be the only company to make simulation games they really do not at all focus on the simulation at all they focus on the arcade modes, MUT is fun if your paying most times the yard is ok as it is some fun, face of the franchise still has no flexibility in its story and after going to the league it really is just franchise where they take control away from you and put you on a linear track with no way to Deviate (everyone experience will literally be the same) in all this is a 30$ mediocre game at best I’d advise saving your money just invest in how you watch your football on sundays… I would say maybe next year but at this pace thus will be the standard for the next 4 to 5 games at the least (it could definitely be more) it’s still the same boom “look at this one AWSOME thing and ignore all the broken and bad things”
