Non spoiler review Great film, if you for some reason think that this film is a 1:1 retelling of fnaf 1… then idk what to tell you. The movie goes over a lot of references along with other plot points and more depth to the characters… Theres animatronics, creepy children, unsettling past… mystery, the characters slowly figure it out.. isnt this a better way to show the franchise in a film? The animatronics are amazing, they get their kills but they are also super fun and silly like they should be towards the kids. I loved mikes character and they really made him more complex and i felt bad for him and the situation. Vanessa is very interesting and i wont say much, but shes got a very cool story. All the kids actors were great, and out of all the characters William was by far my fav… a perfect take on him. Its unsettling, nostalgic, frightening but also fun and has a sense of childhood throughout, remember… fnaf isnt just blood and gore. Good horror film, perfect mix of scares and laughs! and as a fan i adored it. I think its easy to follow even if you dont play the games and i hope everyone enjoys it.
