Stopped watching the show when Michael died. The chemistry between Brett Dier and Gina Rodriguez portraying Michael and Jane was fun to watch. As Jane and Michael, they just seemed to have the friendship as well as love in a relationship. They had a certain "corniness" as a couple that was enjoyable to watch. Delightful also was the bro-mance between the characters Michael and Rogelio. Too much drama with Rafael! Started watching again this season when Michael returned. So very disappointed with the storyline. Once again his character was "killed" off in order for Jane and Rafael to be together which was no surprise. The Michael character endured a lot it seemed for loving Jane and it is unfortunate that the writers could not have given him a better "ending" then to come back from amnesia to remember his life that was taken {through no fault of his} just to be "taken" again.Perhaps it would have been better to have left Michael "at peace." Brett Dier's performance as Michael (not Jason} in my opinion, was a key factor in the show's popularity among viewers.
