I've found this drama in a list of "healing series" alongside with Our Beloved Summer. I was about to drop it until the part where Mi Jeong boldly asked Mr. Gu to worship her. I was bewildered with that scene. The introverted woman plucked up the courage to do something with her shallow life, in something I didn't see coming due to her shy outcast personality, was something pushed me to continue with the series. And indeed, it was a healing drama with relatable characters realistically showing problems we have but almost never had talked about. It tackles relationships and how adults deal with it—from Ki Jeong willing to love anyone, Chan-Hee and their father, to the youngest daughter wanted to be liberated from the sucking feeling of life's futility, with Mr. Gu. It was a slow pace slice of life with a slow burn relationships. It is something I would beg to watch again for the first time.
