I'm a self-proclaimed sci-fi buff, and would give most new Sci-fi movies the benefit of the doubt. But other than that CGI, this movie was all over the place. The acting wasn't believable and the plot had more holes in it than space.

It's not fair to compare this movie to the Avengers simply because it comes from directors and writers who are from a totally different country. With that being said, I really enjoyed the plot and CGI. I actually look forward to the sequel.

I saw this movie on opening day July 4th. Even though I don't have kids, I love them nonetheless. This is movie shines a blaring light on a seriously dark topic that most don't like to talk about. Even though it's very hard to watch, I highly recommend every adult watch it.
