Nowhere in this movie do they reveal what Gracie and Joe do to earn a living. We learn she bakes cakes at home and he raises butterflies and she used to work in a pet shop. How then are they living in this luxurious home with lots of land, 2 dogs & raising 3 children who they sending off to college.
