I've definitely seen juicier, more engaging plots. The drama is alright, and I only watch it because it makes you feel nice--there's nothing too heavy/serious and it serves as an "escape" from real life. That being said, the drama is consequently super unrealistic, and the way the characters say things can sometimes be kinda cringe. But if you're there just for relaxation and nice visuals rather than an actual plot that makes its audience laugh, cry and fantasize nonstop, this could be for you. Keep in mind: there are better C-dramas for sure.
