If you're looking for a movie with the most GENERIC fighting movie plot, "all men are toxic" stigma, predictable lesbian and build-up scenes, underdeveloped charcters, and awful pacing/build-up then you've come to the right movie... yaaaawn.

For someone who's new to "High Fidelity", I feel as though that this show is pretty good. Granted, when I watched the first episode... I was not convinced to keep going. I thought it was going to be another generic "single girl love story" type-ordeal. But as I watched the second episode, I kinda got hooked (even though I hate watching Rom-Coms). I'm more of an ACTION/THRILL/HORROR-type of guy. Not much of a romance person. However, the acting? I think it's great. It's not corny or cheesy like most movie-to-show remakes *COUGH* Marvel! *COUGH* The plot/script/story and dialog? Ehhh... yeah I don't know. I feel as though it is too rushed. Most of the time I'm like, "'Ight, tf just happen? Where's this character? What is going on? Are we in another plot of the show?" I think having prior knowledge of HF would help alot idk. Because once you catch on to what's happening, BAM! We jump to another scene which will then confuse you all over again. That is my reason for deducting 2 stars.
