I have played video games my entire life, and there is not a single video game that has made me cry this hard until I played OMORI. OMORI is not just a typical indie RPG, it is something special. OMORI has some of the most brilliant storytelling and character writing I've ever seen in a video game. Its depictions of depression, anxiety, trauma, and guilt are incredibly well-fleshed out and hit so hard; not to mention the psychological horror aspects are natural and don't feel rushed or forced, just pure terror. Also it has the RPG charm and whimsy that you would find in something like Earthbound, with a battle system that's both fun and unique to its game. I really don't have much to say without spoiling it. OMORI needs to be played blind. Not knowing anything until finishing it is the best possible experience you can have with OMORI. One of the greatest and most emotional and gut-wrenching games I've ever played, OMORI is truly special and life-changing. Don't hesitate to buy it, it is absolutely worth your time.
