I just watched the first two episodes, and I can hardly wait for more. I found all 3 of the starring inquisitors to be underwhelming, but I really got a deep sense of connection with all of the other characters. I'm really getting the sense that the other actors put a lot of work and research into their characters. I even found the extras to be perfect for all the scene locations, with great costumes and sets. The story seemed to flow naturally and had a dynamic sense of buildup and escalation appropriate to the length of each episode. I was constantly eager to find out what was going to happen next. I was a little disappointed with the short length of the episodes, though. I am a long-time star wars fan, and I have no doubt that I will watch this series multiple times over the years. It definitely met my hopes, and completely dispelled any rumors of it being a flop. I love the dark atmosphere of the show, and I hope that Star Wars continues in that direction in the future. It feels like Disney is finally starting to get it.
