I wanted to like this anime because I thought it was going to be about an average person overcoming staggering challenges to become great. It ended up being a harem anime, which is fine, but instead of women being drawn to MC, it's children/beings that he OWNS. Sure, the first slave girl turned into a woman, but he bought her when she was a sick child with a lot of trauma. They try to spin it saying he saved her and gave her a way to live, but the only reason he bought her was because she was all he could afford. He then forces her to fight even though she said she can't stand blood (trauma) and he just tells her he'll replace her if she won't fight (again, trauma). I didn't like that but I could get over one relationship being so problematic. Then the bird monster he bought turned into a little girl and I had to drop out. How the hell is this world a matriarchy when it's run just like the patriarchy we live in?
