It’s argued that Trump’s lying, cheating, bullying, and narcissism can largely be explained by inmmature moral reasoning of. “ scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours”, a lack of moral emotions, especially guilt, shame and empathy, and the everyday use of various mechanisms of moral disengagement, such as denial and blaming others, to absolve himself of responsibility for his harmful actions. A very interesting read
