I had never been exposed to Dune before, had not read the books or seen the previous movie. I only went because a friend and my husband wanted to. I liked it much more than I thought I would. It was visually stunning. It was interesting and left me wanting to see where Part 2 will take it. As a side note, our friend and my husband had read the books and they really liked it as well.

I like the show very much! I would probably give 4.5 stars instead of a whole 5 though. There are things I would like more background on such as the relationship between Mrs Coulter and her Daemon. I have never read the books. I found the adaptation quite beautiful and interesting and i am eager to see what they do with it in the next series. I look forward to seeing more how Will fits into everything.
