It’s incredible. Extremely harrowing, but then obviously it would be. I don’t understand how it could get such harsh criticism; it deserves so much more. One man’s memory of events can’t be expected to encompass everything for everyone; it’s just one out of six million accounts, and it’s told very well. If you’re not interested in this part of history, or want some light relief, then it absolutely isn’t for you. If you are interested, then it’s an excellent adaption of the book.
