Winter Night

Hard to find a game that's like this; gameplay excluded. Story and missions: The atmosphere in this game is top notch and well thought out, Jackie, Johnny, and the romance options pretty much being the best example of this. The side missions and dialogue is always gonna be really fun to use and do, BUT almost none of the dialogue has consequence until the very end of most missions with late game decisions being no exception. Gameplay: Not at all revolutionary, but is still fun. Plays like any other sandbox shooter in all honesty. Crafting is grindy, buggy, and filled with rng mechanics for the guns and melee weapons. The driving is pretty strange. Cars feel like they have no weight to them, but the directional inputs are just fine and work for this game with the addition of sounding pretty nice. (All that being said good luck not crashing and accidentally destroying your car in a simple drive around the city.). AI and enemies are notorious for being bad, with random car crashes being frequent and (this rarely happens now but) unresponsive enemies. For some reason, The animation for getting hit by a car or even death animation sometimes never happen. The glitches: Glitches are the bane of cyberpunks existence with some being annoying more than anything. For example, trying to pick up an unconscious person in a mission and dropping them to maybe to pick up an item or something works horridly. this results in the model of the character to levitate off the ground and stand in a straight vertical pose with their hands on their side, like some weird Cyber-Jesus. I do believe some people are a bit overzealous on the bug fixes(most game breaking ones are fixed but I really doubt they are getting rid of anything not game breaking). Crafting is a bit scuffed, but other than that most of the worst glitches that showed at launch have been fixed. (Not saying you may not be infuriated at the massive catalog the game still has). In my playthrough some bugs are immersion breaking and even in cutscenes, so be wary as you're buying!!!! Overall:4/5 characters, lore, looks, and story save it. Buy it if its on sale, because it may not improve. its worth it to give it a shot.
