okay so i haven't actually read the book, only the first chapter bc ive been busy w some other stuff but i did watch all the three movies and tbh, i love the whole plot and concept. although it's quite cliché and corny at times but the way it potrays love is so so so beautiful. the casting could've been obviously better- there is sort of a lack in chemistry and the dialogue delivery seems too blant. julia's character could've been shown in a much much more relable manner so i won't say it's anything perfect. what i love about the whole story is how they bring dante and beatrice in the story, it's just... amazing. also, it's not at all like fifty shades, characteristics of julia and anastasia might match but they're obviously two different persons with different life experiences. i totally could see Gabriel as a broken character and empathise w him BUT again, it could've been a lot better. i'm surely going to read the book to, like, have a better insight and compare the storyline of the movies. overall, it did definitely hook me to the story. kinda a good watch if you're into cliché romances.
