I had never watched this film because I knew it got bad reviews back when it was released (I was in high school, by the way). I just happened to catch it coming on and decided to watch it and it's a GREAT film! It's got a great cast and Beatty and Christie are fantastic together in the lead roles (I have only really have known her from her amazing performance in Doctor Zhivago). A great, feel good "rom-com" without all the trappings if the modern rom-com. I actually wanted to cry a little at the end!
